MS Myth: Multiple Sclerosis is a white person disease.
Fact: While more common in Caucasians of northern European ancestry, multiple sclerosis occurs in most ethnic groups including African Americans, Asians, Hispanics and Native Americans.
An estimated 3,400 people living in Oklahoma have MS and are part of the 400,000 estimated Americans that have multiple sclerosis. Every hour of every day another person learns they have MS in America.
