PBA (Pseudobulbar Affect) Is a neurological condition that causes involuntary episodes of crying, laughing or both. It is caused by brain injury from diseases such as multiple sclerosis. The National MS Society estimates 1 in 10 (10%) with multiple sclerosis will encounter this issue.
Each person’s path with MS is unique, as a result not everyone with Multiple Sclerosis will have this medical condition.
