“Pompey said she gained a better understanding of her condition after joining an MS support group.

“When I first came, I didn’t know anybody. I just wanted to go and when I came in, they welcomed me. You know and it’s good to go and be with other people that has this illness like you. And they know what you’re going through,” explained Pompey.”

I agree with this article 100%. Those that are newly diagnosed should immediately go to the National MS Society website look for their state and find a support group.

I’m a member of ATOMS here in Oklahoma City. Our next meeting is next Sunday, March 18th, anyone in the central Oklahoma area is invited to join us.
